Shannon Smith

Shannon Smith is a Registered Dietitian who is a big proponent of supporting people's nutrition needs with a real food approach that's rooted in science. Shannon graduated with honours from UBC's Food Nutrition and Health program, and completed her dietetic internship with Vancouver Coastal Health. She is registered with the College of Dietitians of BC, and a member of Dietitians of Canada.

Her extensive experience working as a dietitian in the retail setting has armed her with an arsenal of meal preparation shortcuts to help people meet their health goals in the simplest way possible. Her approach to nutrition counseling starts with meeting people where they're at and implementing simple yet impactful changes that can realistically become everyday habits.

Shannon is a self-described food nerd, and is currently engrossed by real food solutions to digestive health issues. She is well versed in the Low FODMAP diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which is the only time you will catch her using the word "diet"
